I'm back from India... So what happened while I was away? Today I opened SikhNet news and half news was from Amritsar. I just came from there. Canadian Prime Minister was in Golden Temple wondering if its real gold (that day my didi stuck in traffic for 3 hours) then Amritsar was hosting a Mr Singh competition (could not make it to it but would love to. Respect to Sardars!) By the way it's Christmas. Did you buy gifts? Great gifts at Desi Legend Shop. You are welcome!

Do not miss the documentary "Turbanology: After 7/7" by Jay Singh-Sohal, which was aired on BritAsia TV (Sky ch 833) on 7th July 2009. If you have a friend or you want to let other people know who are sikhs, I suggest investing in this DVD.

Amazing running Sikh
I have mentioned Fauja Singh before and I can't stop being amazed at his stamina and willpower. Imagine to start running professionally at the age of 71, sorry it was actually 81. Now he is 98 and he is still running. Now he wants to beat his own record. He replaced David Beckham for Adidas ad. Unbelievable! In some countries 68 is an average age to be dead...check statistics. Well done! Nothing is impossible!
